REITERA TRUMP INTENCIÓN DE CONSTRUIR MURO FRONTERIZO/EL DIARIO DE JUÁREZ
El magnate y precandidato republicano Donald Trump ha publicado una serie de spots en su canal de YouTube, y en uno de ellos abordó el tema de la migración de indocumentados. “No tenemos un país si no tiene fronteras”, inicia el video. “Construiremos un muro. WISCONSIN SUPREME COURT LETS IMMIGRANT WITHDRAW GUILTY PLEA / SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS
The Wisconsin Supreme Court says a Mexican immigrant who wasn't told pleading guilty could result in deportation can withdraw her plea. Melisa Valadez was convicted of drug charges in multiple cases a decade ago and served jail time. She later alleged she couldn't renew her permanent resident card because of the conviction and filed to withdraw her guilty pleas. The circuit court denied her motion to withdraw her pleas.

SWEDEN LIKELY TO DEPORT UP TO 80,000 ASYLUM SEEKERS/THE GLOBE AND MAIL
Sweden is likely to deport up to half last year’s record 163,000 asylum seekers either voluntarily or forcibly, presenting a major challenge to authorities, Interior Minister Anders Ygeman said on Thursday. Between 60,000 and 80,000 people will likely have to leave, Ygeman said, which would represent about 45 percent of the total number of applicants. Sweden, with a population of almost 10 million, is one of the countries that has borne the brunt of Europe’s migrant crisis as hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East and north Africa have moved north to wealthier members of the European Union.

ITALIAN NAVY RECOVERS SIX BODIES, RESCUES 290 FROM REFUGEE BOATS/THE GLOBE AND MAIL
Italy’s navy rescued 290 migrants and recovered six bodies from the water near a half-sunken rubber boat on Thursday, the first sea deaths recorded on the North Africa to Italy route this year, a spokesman said. The navy rescued 109 migrants from a large rubber boat in the morning, and then 107 from a second boat a few hours later. When the navy arrived at a third rubber craft, it was sinking. They managed to pull 74 to safety, but six bodies were recovered from the water. A navy helicopter is continuing to search for survivors, the spokesman said.

Al menos 18 personas, la mitad niños, murieron en un nuevo naufragio de una embarcación migrante en torno a las islas orientales griegas, indicó este jueves la Guardia Costera del país.
